Thank
you for your order. These masks are a result of my love
of mask making and theatre. I make each mask by hand with great
attention to detail and quality. Each mask is a unique work of art.
Colors and details will vary. Masks are signed and dated.
How
to Order - To order masks please send me an email with
the following information:
1. What masks you would like to order.
2. Your shipping address.
3. Your method of payment; credit card, check or postal money order.
Do NOT email me your credit card number. I will send you a link
to a Paypal payment button.
4. Will you be primarily using your mask for performance, teaching,
masquerade or to display?
5. Do you need the masks by a specific date?

Trouble? - I answer all polite emails so if you haven't
heard from me A) I tried to email you back and it bounced. B) I'm
up to my ears in work or out of town on a design job. Give me a
little time and I'll answer. C) I never got the email. Please try
again or call me.
Returns
- All sales are final. Due to health regulations masks
may not be returned. I'm happy to answer questions you have before
you order to make sure you are satisfied with your mask. Once work
has begun on an order the order may not be cancelled or changed.
Payment
Methods - I accept credit cards through Paypal. I also accept
checks or a Post Office (USPS) money order made out to "Alyssa
Ravenwood." I will send you payment instructions after you email
me with your order. Paying by check will delay your order, I will
not send the mask until the check has cleared. I can not accept layaway
or send COD.
Delivery Time - Orders are
filled on a first ordered, first served basis. Delivery time depends
on how many people are in line ahead of you. In general allow 2-6
weeks for delivery, longer during busy times, shorter when I’m
not as busy.
If you need a mask by a specific date please email me to check availability.
Shipping - Masks are shipped
via insured USPS priority mail. Shipping costs are calculated based
on your shipping address, insurance value and weight of your package.
A handling charge is added. Typically, shipping in the continental
US for one mask is $15.00.
Under no circumstances
will I work with UPS.
Important note: If post office can't deliver to the address provided
by the customer and the item is returned to me shipping fees will
not be refunded. This is especially important where the customer's
signature may be required for delivery. It is the responsibility
of the customer to provide a shipping address where they can guarantee
secure receipt of their shipment.
Copyrights
- All copyrights remain the property of the artist. The
mask design is property of Alyssa Ravenwood and may not be copied
or reproduced.
If
used in a production:
-The theatre company has the right to use the mask and to resell
the mask.
- The theatre company has the right to photograph the mask and to
use those photos for publicity purposes. Photo credit “mask
by Alyssa Ravenwood” or “mask by RavenwoodMasks.com”
is requested.
- If the masks are used for performance, program credit “mask(s)
by Alyssa Ravenwood” (or RavenwoodMasks.com) OR Mask Design
by Alyssa Ravenwood (or RavenwoodMasks.com) is required.
Caring for your mask - Avoid
crushing or bending your mask. My masks are durable and appropriate
for performance wear if treated with proper care.
Masks have been varnished but you should avoid getting them wet.
Avoid scratching or scraping the paint. For storage or travel, wrap
mask in soft cloth or plastic.
Dust with dry cloth. Do not use cleaning solvents.
Avoid
extreme temperatures.
Neoprene Mask Storage: Support the shape of your neoprene mask with
a wig head or rolled up towel. Neoprene masks are strong but they
can be crushed out of shape or torn if stored improperly.
Vacuuform Mask Storage: Vacuuform masks will hold their shape but
they should not be crushed or bent. Keep them away from heat.
Leather - In some masks I
use leather to attach the straps. I can substitute felt if you prefer
that no animal products are used. Please tell me when you order.
Some masks are decorated with leather. If the mask can be made without
leather I have mentioned it beside the picture.
